Moon & Lola

I was so excited to be invited to a Blogger's Night Out in Charleston at Moon & Lola. I headed to the Holy City early Tuesday morning and had lunch with one of my favorite friends. Heads up to any ladies looking for a new hair stylist, she's about to open her own little salon! I'll be heading up there myself once she opens in a few weeks, and I'll let y'all know all about it. 

I wandered around my favorite city to explore. I'm almost embarrassed to admit I hadn't been back there in almost 7 months! We wandered in and out of the shops on King catching up on life in between...

It was so exciting to see the Fall window displays, especially with the nip in the air and dreary skies.

I also found a fabulous antique store with a table to die for. 

These big chunky legs are perfect in every way. I am bound and determined to get one of these soon.

After several hours of shopping and eating, it was time for me to meet some of the bloggers in the Charleston Bog Society. We chatted about everything under the sun while munching on cookies, sipping wine, and browsing the lovely baubles. 

I can't wait to style the pretty little things I purchased, but until then here are some pictures of the items they carry.

These earrings were some of my favorites, and the best part is you can customize them in every way! Color, font, rubbing, size, whatever your little heart desires!

I tried on this gorgeous dress that one of the sales associates was wearing, I almost pulled the trigger until my sister told me it made me look a little frumpy. I left that night thinking I had done the right thing, but today I'm not so sure...

Sorry I'm getting to y'all late today, it was a pretty busy week on campus. We had our cumulative exam this morning, so I've been very preoccupied with that until now. These Boots...

These Boots by Eric Church came on my iPod the other day and it got my mind dreaming about Fall weather right now. What better way to welcome the new season than with a new pair of boots! These Corso Como are my favorites from last year. I practically lived in these babies. This year I've got my eye on the Frye, but I'm having a hard time choosing between the booties or the tall boots. They're both fantastic and would be perfect for cooler evenings around a fire with a hot mug of cocoa.

This past weekend was the Tax Holiday weekend for SC and GA. I took full advantage and scored some pretty great items I can't wait to wear! I'll be on my Emergency Medicine rotation for the next five weeks, and I will most likely be in scrubs the whole time. I opted to add a few more casual pieces seeing as I won't be needing my professional clothing for a while.

Packing for Adventure | Night on the Town

Our trip to Saint John is approaching at glacial speed, well not really but it sure seems like it. I've already begun mentally packing my bags, and here is one outfit I can't wait to wear! This romper is perfect for any tropical location. It's breezy and oh so comfortable!

Packing for Adventure | Snorkel Ready

St. John is well known for it's fantastic snorkel friendly waters. They are some of the best in the Caribbean. The beaches on the island are teeming with sea life, and I plan to explore every last inch! I've put together a few things necessary for a day on the beach and in the water.

 

Wedding Wednesday

Since it's wedding season and all, I couldn't help but notice that much of what I have my eye on would look just lovely on a new bride. For those of you planning and packing you honeymoon, check a few of these pieces out. I myself have always gravitated toward white dresses making it particularly difficult to choose a something from my closet to wear as a wedding guest, but I think I could rationalize a few more in the closet as I don't have many weddings to attend at the moment. I think they'll be perfect for my upcoming trip (more details tomorrow)!

Opinions Wanted

I found some really gorgeous goodies that would be fantastic in my closet this summer. One problem, I've never ordered from SheInside, and I'm a little nervous about it. I'd love to hear your experiences, good or bad! Here is what I have waiting in my basket now.

Fab Friday

First off, I'm so excited to co-host Fab Favorites with Lauren of Style Elixir. I found her blog earlier this year and am in love with her style. I couldn't be happier to be linking up with her, Amy, and Anna.

Second, remember those chambray skimmers I posted about last week? I hopped over to the J.Crew Factory store over the weekend a found myself a pair! I'm so excited to style them for rotations, but I also plan on wearing them "in real life." Here is a peek of what I have in mind for the clinic; flats, my medical equipment, and a stethoscope of course.

After the day is over, I'll pop on a pair of wedges, trade my doc bag for my purse and head out for a dinner date with friends.
